About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and qualified Gas Engineer to join our team at Rock Managed Services on a sub-contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing gas systems and appliances in social housing properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain, and repair gas systems and appliances, including boilers, heaters, and cookers.
- Conduct safety checks and inspections to ensure systems operate efficiently and meet safety standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, identifying and resolving faults and defects.
- Provide clients with advice and guidance on the use and maintenance of gas systems and appliances.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all work performed.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures at all times.
- Maintain effective communication with clients and team members.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of gas systems and appliances, including boilers, heaters, and cookers.
- Relevant qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1.
- Own van and tools.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Clean DBS check.
