Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruitment Development Specialist to join our team at Maximus UK. As a key member of our employment services team, you will play a critical role in identifying and growing a local network of employer partners and agencies who can provide suitable employment opportunities for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with local employers and agencies to source employment opportunities for our customers.
  • Utilize automated search tools, regional data, and local knowledge to identify potential job openings and match 'job ready' customers to live vacancies.
  • Collaborate with Regional Account Managers to establish employer/agency relationships and identify significant growth opportunities.
  • Support customers in their job search by performing personalized job searches based on their skills, experience, and aspirations.
  • Coordinate recruitment activity with the management of client vacancies, including logistics, CV submission, and interview scheduling.
  • Work closely with internal colleagues to ensure customers meet employer expectations and are prepared for the transition into work.
  • Monitor and analyze employment and candidate pipelines to ensure alignment with site caseload job requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Maximus policies and procedures to achieve zero compliance issues.
  • Achieve individual and team targets to support wider Maximus success.
  • Provide support and guidance to new staff members through work shadowing, buddying, and mentoring.

Requirements:

  • Previous work experience in a commercial recruitment/sales environment, including cold calling and telesales.
  • Proven success in achieving sales-related targets in a high-performance culture.
  • Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet-based applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a persuasive style and excellent telephone manner.
  • Self-starter with strong planning and organization skills, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, with a commitment to continuing professional development.
  • Calm, rational, and objective in all situations.
