Extra Recruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Administrator to join their client's team in the West Midlands. The ideal candidate will have experience in overseeing and managing health and safety on site, with a strong focus on risk assessments, incident reporting, and staff training.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage health and safety on site, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Conduct risk assessments, including root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Investigate and report on incidents and accidents, implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Develop and deliver training programs on PPE, manual handling, and other health and safety topics.
- Provide inductions and orientations for new staff members.
- Write and implement policies and procedures related to health and safety.
- Liaise with management and other stakeholders to ensure effective health and safety management.
- Previous experience in health and safety is required.
- NEBOSH certification is highly desirable.
- A First Aid Certificate is preferred.
