About the Role:

The Team Manager will be responsible for leading the team in marketing the service and selling its services at agreed prices, while maintaining the operations of the service at the standard agreed with the Registered Provider. This includes developing and maintaining effective working relationships with the Responsible Individual for the service, creating and upholding an open, positive, and inclusive management culture, and formulating and administering the service's budget based on the service's objectives and within the projected revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and administer the service's budget based on the service's objectives and within the projected revenue.
  • Participate in the development of the service's policies.
  • Share in the development of strategic plans for the service.
  • Participate in evaluation of the service against agreed organisational goals, business, and quality objectives.
  • Work to establish effective employer-employee relationships.
  • Minimise legal risks.
  • Participate in the establishment and maintenance of the service's management information systems.
  • Advise the Registered Provider of any changes to the structure of the organisation which may be required.
  • Formulate and implement care policies and procedures.
  • Implement and maintain the standards required by legislation related to the registration of the service.
  • Manage the service in accordance with the Management Protocols within the Rehability UK Community UK Policies and Procedures System.
  • Provide leadership of the administration, care, and people management functions of the Service, catering, housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Ideal experience of working and leading a team in a supported living environment, with guidance and support from our experienced Area Manager.
  • Personal care is required in all our locations, so experience providing personal care is essential.
  • Flexibility is required for this role.
