Role Overview:

We are in search of a highly skilled Electronic Trading Business Analyst eager to advance their career to the Senior Business Analyst level. This role involves working within ICAP's dynamic electronic trading division, focusing on analyzing, designing, and implementing effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with stakeholders, including quants, business owners, developers, and vendors, to thoroughly understand business drivers and requirements.
  • Lead analysis and manage project deliveries aimed at enhancing and deploying technology solutions.
  • Draft detailed business requirements, functional specifications, and release notes, along with other communication materials.
  • Collaborate with product teams and vendors to ensure accurate translation of requirements into effective solutions.
  • Implement configuration changes in partnership with product support specialists and vendors.
  • Drive projects within a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Facilitate product reviews and user acceptance testing to ensure business needs are met.
  • Prioritize software issues and advocate for timely resolutions.
  • Provide training and support to various business areas, including traders and customer support teams.
  • Coordinate data analysis projects for compliance and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead discussions on customer-facing trade life cycles.
  • Maintain a technical understanding of product architecture to balance user needs with technical constraints.
  • Oversee reconciliation projects between client-facing functions and internal teams.
Required Experience and Skills:

Essential:
  • Experience as a Business Analyst in an electronic trading environment.
  • Strong understanding of technology and the product development lifecycle.
  • Exceptional project management and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proven track record of contributing to successful project delivery.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
  • Familiarity with FIX protocol and SQL.
Desired:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with Execution Management Systems.
  • Familiarity with Asana and Slack.
  • Knowledge of Fixed Income and/or Futures.
