Court of Protection Specialist

Gemini Recruitment is partnering with a leading law firm to recruit a dedicated Court of Protection Paralegal. This is a highly sought-after permanent position that offers an attractive salary package, a supportive team environment, and real prospects for promotion.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with Court of Protection matters, including personal injury trusts, statutory wills, and gift applications. They will also be involved in deputyship applications, on-going deputyship administration, and health and social care judicial review and ancillary applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background with a Law degree and legal experience as a Court of Protection Paralegal/Advisor. They will demonstrate passion and experience in a broad range of publically funded Court of Protection cases and have excellent analytical and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with Court of Protection matters
• Deputyship applications and administration
• Health and social care judicial review and ancillary applications
• Attending clients, taking instructions, and preparing cases
• Dealing with correspondence and maintaining accurate time costing procedures

Requirements:

• Strong academic background with a Law degree
• Legal experience as a Court of Protection Paralegal/Advisor
• Passion and experience in a broad range of publically funded Court of Protection cases
• Excellent analytical and organisational skills
