Court of Protection Specialist

Gemini Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Court of Protection Paralegal to join our client's highly regarded team. As a Court of Protection Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team's work in achieving the best possible results for clients and their families.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist with Court of Protection matters, including personal injury trusts, statutory wills, and gift applications.
• Deputyship applications, on-going deputyship administration, health and social care judicial review, and ancillary applications.
• Attend clients, take instructions, and prepare cases.
• Deal with correspondence and maintain accurate time costing procedures.
• Implement recommendations made by supervisors following monthly file reviews.
• Ensure compliance with file management.

Requirements:

• Demonstrate passion and experience in publically funded Court of Protection.
• Strong academic background with a Law degree.
• Legal experience as a Court of Protection Paralegal/Advisor.
• Clear understanding and application of Court of Protection.
• Business acumen and ability to market the Company.
• Excellent communications skills to work effectively with all types of people.
• Excellent analytical and organisational skills and ability to use own initiative but know when to seek guidance.
• Committed team player, self-motivated, and professional.
• Excellent IT Skills - familiar with Microsoft Office applications and document management skills.
