Job Description

ENS Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and proactive HR Advisor to join our team on a ten-month maternity cover. As the sole HR representative, you will be responsible for managing all HR-related responsibilities, with support from the Finance Director and CEO.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment: Create and manage online advertising, negotiate agency fees, shortlist candidates, organize interviews, and track recruitment progress.
  • Staff Engagement: Update employees on events, host charity days, send email communications, and organize summer and Christmas parties.
  • Employee Relations: Investigate, discipline, and dismiss employees, source evidence, and liaise with the legal team and/or ACAS.
  • Training: Work with the Health and Safety Advisor to source training providers and book training for employees.
  • Miscellaneous: Ensure employee personal information is kept confidential, maintain employee benefits administration, and process leavers and final pay.

A full handover will be given by the current HR advisor prior to her leaving for maternity leave. Salary: £33k pro rata. Full-time office-based, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
