As a Marketing Executive, you will report to the Marketing Manager and provide support across a wide range of marketing activities, including creating engaging content for our website and social media channels, managing email campaigns, and working on other online and offline marketing platforms as needed.
The role predominantly focuses on digital marketing, including writing compelling copy for our website, creating social media content, email marketing, and offline copywriting for brochures and adverts. You will be responsible for the overall social media representation of our brand and for creating email marketing campaigns when required. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a similar marketing role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating online product descriptions for our company websites.
- Creating, implementing, and monitoring listings and product descriptions for our eBay store.
- Sourcing content ideas and writing blog articles for websites and social media channels.
- Maintaining our company's social media presence by creating, scheduling, and publishing posts for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and Google My Business accounts, including sourcing imagery and writing captions.
- Developing and implementing email marketing campaigns.
- Creating promotional marketing materials to support product campaigns.
- Engaging directly with customers via social channels, including Trustpilot, eBay, and Facebook Messenger.
- Identifying and establishing valuable social media collaboration opportunities to help expand brand awareness and enhance credibility.
- Performing general marketing duties as required.
Requirements:
- Excellent social media awareness and knowledge with experience writing for a range of social media channels.
- Confident in writing both long-form and short-form content.
- Experience working as part of a team on larger projects as well as independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- A basic understanding of GDPR and best marketing practices.
- Ability to express and develop creative ideas in a professional environment relevant to commercial products and services.
- Minimum of 2 years of digital marketing experience.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging digital marketing technologies to identify opportunities for growth and maintain a competitive edge.
- Experience with image editing using Adobe Photoshop and Canva.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices.
