Survival Equipment Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Survival Equipment Supervisor to join our client, a leading global Defence company, in Holyhead, Anglesey. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of all Survival Equipment Maintenance activities for the Hawk Advanced Jet Trainer at RAF Valley.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain all Survival Equipment, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Lead a team of engineers in the maintenance and repair of Survival Equipment, ensuring high-quality workmanship and timely completion of tasks.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of Survival Equipment maintenance with other aspects of the Defence operation.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Fitter position within a related engineering environment.
  • Evidence of using a combination of general and specialist engineering knowledge and understanding to apply existing and emerging technology.
  • Working knowledge and use of IT Operating Systems (MS Office Suite) and the Internet.
  • Level 3 qualification in a relevant area.
