Our client, a leading industrial and manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring the smooth operation of the company's financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bank Accounts: Ensure the bank account is up to date daily and reconcile the accounting system to the bank statements.
  • Process Factoring Account Transactions: Process and reconcile factoring account transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Accounts Receivable: Create and send sales invoices and credit notes, contact clients to ensure timely payments, and report debtor lists monthly to the Directors.
  • Accounts Payable: Process purchase invoices and credit notes, reconcile supplier accounts to supplier statements, and identify amounts for payment to suppliers.
  • Other Tasks: Process journals, update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets, and perform general filing and administrative duties.
Requirements and Skills:
  • Experience in accounts processing using Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks.
  • Knowledge of Excel, including formulas and spreadsheet creation.
  • Good data entry skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
