About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in creating multi-channel marketing solutions that incorporate information services, print, digital & events. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining a portfolio of key client-led partnerships through face-to-face meetings and at global industry events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and source new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients at all levels
  • Build relationships with agencies to create connections with major brands
  • Contribute to the strategic proposition of the BTN Group to support increased revenue and new product development
  • Work closely with editorial, research, marketing and commercial teams to support the overall objectives of the BTN Group
  • Share best practice and collaborate with the wider commercial team to develop core commercial skills

  • Delivering ROI: A proven track record in delivering a tangible ROI for the client and the business
  • Experience in creative solutions that meet with the goals of the clients and the revenue objectives of the business
  • General business awareness: Show evidence of developing effective advertiser partnership strategies
  • Creative thinking: Ability to identify opportunities and develop new initiatives and compelling creative solutions
  • Track record in focusing on, setting and exceeding personal, team and organizational commercial goals
