How will you contribute to our success?

In this pivotal role, you will oversee and enhance all technical dimensions of the dunhill Menswear Ready-to-Wear (RTW) and soft accessories collections, ensuring risk mitigation within the product lifecycle. Your primary focus will be to uphold functionality and customer satisfaction while maintaining quality as a fundamental principle across all Menswear RTW and soft accessories offerings. You will also ensure adherence to Richemont/International standards and market regulations, while leading the Menswear RTW Quality and Technical team throughout the product lifecycle.

PRODUCT LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT

  • Provide expert technical support to Design, Product Development, Merchandising, and Suppliers to align with the Menswear business objectives and promote quality throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Menswear Product Development to establish realistic and achievable critical paths, ensuring that key milestones are met.
  • Oversee and coordinate the fitting process from initial prototype to pre-production gold seal, considering design, development, industrialization, and quality requirements.
  • Conduct seasonal risk assessments during the development of all Menswear RTW and soft accessories, offering risk mitigation solutions through testing and due diligence programs to enhance product industrialization.
  • Engage with suppliers, managing communication and product sealing to ensure accurate engineering and industrialization for production.
  • Lead suppliers and team efforts to ensure products are sealed for production within designated timelines.
  • Facilitate the handover of products to the Menswear field quality inspector to ensure a seamless transition.

PRODUCT QUALITY AND COMPLIANCE

  • Oversee the product testing program and ensure compliance with care label standards.
  • Deliver exceptional quality standards, consistent fit, and production processes, collaborating closely with relevant teams and suppliers.
  • Maintain quality standards through the publication and distribution of Make standards, Measurements, Labelling, Supplier Manuals, Testing Manual, and Blocks/Grading Manual.
  • Ensure that technical and testing manuals are updated in accordance with CSR/Richemont compliance guidelines.
  • Provide quality and technical expertise to support the product compliance team.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluate critical paths to ensure that deadlines for technical activities are achievable and agreed upon.
  • Support made-to-measure initiatives concerning product testing and compliance.
  • Ensure data is collected, summarized, and shared for Supplier Measures/KPI reports, taking action based on results.
  • Advocate for continuous improvement in Quality and Technical systems.
  • Collaborate with Design, Product Development, Merchandising, Production, and Marketing teams.

HOW WILL YOU ACHIEVE SUCCESS WITH US?

  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of luxury or premium menswear development processes, with comprehensive knowledge of the entire product lifecycle.
  • Strong grasp of menswear formal and casual categories, including wovens, knits, jerseys, and leather.
  • Familiarity with product construction and pattern-making, with a hands-on approach to fitting.
  • Knowledge of quality AQL criteria and inspection protocols.
  • Experience in managing a team and/or leading cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize a diverse workload.
  • Capacity to manage and adapt to change effectively.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with an innovative mindset.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment across multiple teams and markets.
