As a Principal Process Engineer at Cavendish Nuclear, you will play a key role in delivering engineering and technical activities through the application of process, domain knowledge, and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve technical issues and problems
  • Compile technical reports and accompanying presentations
  • Provide, review, and adhere to specifications in accordance with stakeholder requirements
  • Coach, mentor, and assist others on matters pertaining to their own discipline
  • Develop business awareness
  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders
  • Work independently with limited technical direction or as part of a small team
  • Work as a subject matter expert in a specialist subject area

This role is full time, 37 hours per week, and requires regular travel to Warrington or Bristol, on a weekly basis, alongside home working arrangements. Agile working may be available to employees in some instances, applying the principles of fairness and consistency while ensuring that the overriding business needs can be appropriately met.

Essential Experience:

  • Demonstratable experience in managing teams to deliver analysis activities on a range of project types
  • Proven experience in covering a variety of tasks across a range of complexities
  • Excellent communications skills and the ability to interface with other disciplines

Qualifications:

  • It is a requirement to hold a Chemical Engineering degree
  • You must be a chartered chemical engineer
