Cavendish Nuclear, a leader within the UK nuclear industry, is seeking a Principal Process Engineer to join our team. As a Principal Process Engineer, you will provide leadership in the delivery of engineering and technical activities through the application of process, domain knowledge and experience.

The Role

As a Principal Process Engineer, you will be responsible for resolving a range of technical issues and problems, compiling technical reports and accompanying presentations; providing, reviewing and adhering to specifications in accordance with stakeholder requirements:

  • Coaches, mentors and assists others on matters pertaining to their own discipline.
  • Developing business awareness.
  • Builds strong working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Works independently with limited technical direction or as part of a small team.
  • Working as a subject matter expert in a specialist subject area.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and requires regular travel to Warrington or Bristol, on a weekly basis alongside home working arrangements.

Essential Experience of the Principal Process Engineer:

  • Demonstratable experience in managing teams to deliver analysis activities on a range of project types.
  • Proven experience in covering a variety of tasks across a range of complexities.
  • Excellent communications skills and the ability to interface with other disciplines.
  • Ideally, you would have had experience of working in the nuclear sector but, this is not essential.

Qualifications for the Principal Process Engineer:

  • It is a requirement to hold a Chemical Engineering degree.
  • You must be a chartered chemical engineer.
