Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate and manage placement requests from local authorities, ensuring timely and effective responses.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with foster carers, social workers, and other stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
  3. Conduct thorough assessments and matching processes to identify suitable placements for children and young people.
  4. Provide ongoing support and guidance to foster carers, social workers, and other professionals to ensure the highest standards of care and support.
  5. Monitor and evaluate placement outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless placement processes and effective communication.
  7. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including National Minimum Standards and Ofsted requirements.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a placement or social work role, with a strong understanding of child care and welfare.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including National Minimum Standards and Ofsted requirements.

  • A competitive salary of £26,000.00-£29,000.00 per year.
