Position Overview

In the role of Energy and Infrastructure Finance Associate, you will be instrumental in providing guidance on a diverse array of financing projects related to energy and infrastructure, encompassing both greenfield and brownfield initiatives. Collaborating within the broader Projects team, you will work alongside colleagues to deliver expert advice to clients on project procurement, structuring, financing, execution, and exit strategies.

  • Lead transactions with oversight from Partners, supported by junior and senior team members
  • Provide counsel to clients on intricate UK and cross-border energy and infrastructure ventures
  • Innovate project finance frameworks for top-tier clients
  • Foster client relationships and engage in business development efforts
  • Offer mentorship and support to junior colleagues

Qualifications

  • 2 – 5 years of post-qualification experience in a reputable city law firm
  • Relevant expertise in energy and/or infrastructure finance
  • Able to lead transactions with appropriate guidance and support
  • Experience in other areas of Projects work (e.g., M&A, commercial) is advantageous
  • Strong skills in client relationship management and business development
  • Collaborative mindset with a supportive approach to teamwork
