Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between the main kitchen and our residents, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Assist chefs in preparing meals, plating dishes, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Monitor stock rotation, adhere to company policies, and follow COSHH and HACCP guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy food preparation process.
  • Support catering for special events, such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties, to create memorable experiences for our residents.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess a passion for food, previous experience working in a kitchen, and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. You will be committed to delivering exceptional service, maintaining high standards, and communicating effectively with the wider kitchen and care home teams.
