We are collaborating with a distinguished Tour Operator seeking an Inside Sales and Administrative Coordinator to partner with their Sales Leadership team, located in a central office.
Your Role:
- Act as the primary administrative liaison between the Sales Leadership and Business Development teams, as well as key industry partners.
- Assist the Sales Leadership with scheduling, correspondence, and various administrative responsibilities.
- Organize and facilitate meetings, ensuring agendas are prepared, minutes are recorded, and action items are tracked.
- Support the Business Development team by preparing and distributing sales reports, performance metrics, and trading analyses.
- Engage with key partners and consortia, providing them with trading insights, marketing campaign support, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate B2B travel agent and B2C consumer events.
- Plan and execute travel agent familiarization trips.
- Enhance brand visibility across key partner accounts, serving as a crucial contact for daily sales operations.
- Foster relationships and drive growth with significant B2B accounts through regular engagement and insightful updates on their performance.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to fulfill agreed commercial terms.
- Communicate and assess the return on investment for joint marketing initiatives with key partners.
- Support the broader sales team to optimize resource utilization in achieving overall objectives.
- Ensure effective use of marketing materials to maximize brand presence in key B2B account agencies.
- Streamline inside sales processes to enhance efficiency across the division.
- Compile and distribute weekly and monthly reports to the internal sales team, equipping them with essential tools to meet their goals.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A detail-oriented, dynamic, and results-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in sales support and administrative roles.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the travel industry, with a preference for B2B exposure.
- Ability to support account management and collaborate effectively with remote teams.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong organizational abilities.
- A comprehensive understanding of company culture and values.
- Proficient in multitasking and managing diverse responsibilities.
- Experience in event planning or coordination is advantageous.
- Capable of producing detailed and informative reports for broader teams.
- A confident problem solver who can effectively engage with key accounts.
- Adept at identifying issues and their root causes, applying feedback swiftly to resolve challenges.
- Strong negotiation capabilities.
- Integrity in dealings, accountability for actions, and commitment to confidentiality and core values.
- Adaptable to change, encouraging innovation, and managing pressure effectively.
- Proficient in MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel), Salesforce, and various digital tools, with a quick learning curve for new technologies.
- Willingness to work flexible hours when organizing events outside standard office times.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary of £30,000.
- Hybrid working model – 2 days in the office, 3 days remote.
