About the Role

Carlton Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a dedicated Housing Law Specialist to join a well-established and supportive housing team. The ideal candidate will meet the necessary qualifications to fulfill the Legal Aid Agency supervisor requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stay informed on legal developments relevant to housing law.
  • Manage routine correspondence, negotiations, and advocacy as needed.
  • Analyze legal issues and advise clients on suitable courses of action.
  • Perform administrative tasks in line with departmental procedures to ensure efficient case management and billing.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to junior legal professionals when necessary.
Qualifications and Skills

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Extensive knowledge of housing law, including possession proceedings, claims for inadequate housing conditions, and homelessness applications.
  • A solid understanding of the legal aid framework and CCMS.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
