Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Community Mental Health Nurse to join our team as a Deputy Team Lead in the Older Adult Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals with mental health needs in Central Aberdeenshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deputize for the Team Lead in their absence and provide support to the wider multidisciplinary team.
  • Support the development of the service to improve practice and work collaboratively across healthcare boundaries.
  • Implement and evaluate evidence-based standards, guidelines, and policies.
  • Manage a caseload under the supervision of the Team and Deputy Team Lead.

Requirements:

  • Sound assessment skills and ability to communicate effectively within a team.
  • Experience of multi-agency working and working with older adults, including functional and organic illnesses.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relocation allowance available for successful candidates.
