We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Footwear Buyer to join our team on a maternity cover basis. As a Footwear Buyer, you will be responsible for buying and trading the Footwear department, for our European Full Price (Stores & E-Commerce) and Outlet Stores.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyse product performance and financial reporting to ensure KPIs and sales plans are being met.
- Partner with the Footwear Planner to analyse business and stock opportunities, monitor lifecycle and flow of product and identify re-order opportunities by classification and by style.
- Develop strong relationships with vendors to manage the departments and ensure pricing architecture and product development is right for the EMEA market and delivers the global brand vision.
- Prepare seasonal sales analysis (hind-sights) and devise pre-market strategies ahead of buys, in keeping with the wider business goals & present back to Senior Management.
- Influence assortment building by analysing product performance, gathering customer feedback and staying on top of consumer trends and the competitive landscape.
- Minimum 5 years experience in Retail Buying or equivalent.
- Background in sized product preferred.
- Prior experience managing junior level reports.
- Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills.
