Mencap is seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in Stowmarket. As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to provide invaluable support to individuals with learning disabilities, empowering them to live fulfilling lives.

Your Responsibilities:

You will work closely with individuals to assist them with daily activities, providing emotional support and encouragement. Your role will involve:

  • Building meaningful relationships based on trust and respect.
  • Assisting with personal care tasks as needed.
  • Encouraging independence and promoting social inclusion.
  • Maintaining a safe and supportive environment.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with diverse needs.
Contract Options:

Part-time: 25 hours per week.

Shift Times:

All our services operate 24/7. We prepare rotas at least four weeks in advance, ensuring you can maintain a healthy work-life balance.

  • Days: Between 07:00-22:00
Sleep-In Option:

We offer a sleep-in option where you will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £62.45.

All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
