Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in the private healthcare sector. As a key member of the facilities team, you will be responsible for completing various maintenance tasks around the site, including building fabric repairs, plumbing, HVAC, and other related tasks.

The Role:

  1. Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
  2. Work closely with the operations team to minimize disruption to the day-to-day running of the facility.
  3. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures.
  4. Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  5. Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in a building services or facilities maintenance position.
  2. Ability to perform general building maintenance tasks, including mechanical maintenance on infrastructure.
  3. Hold an apprenticeship or qualification in a trade or building services equivalent.
  4. Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle.
  5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
