Facilities Maintenance Engineer

Our client, a well-established private healthcare sector company, is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join their team near Reading.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable organization and contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of their facilities.

The Role
  1. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including building fabric repairs, plumbing, and HVAC work.
  2. Work collaboratively with operations teams to ensure minimal disruption to the day-to-day running of the facility.
  3. Maintain the highest standards of Health & Safety and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
  5. Work independently and prioritize workload as new tasks arise.
The Candidate
  1. Must have experience in a Building Services or Facilities maintenance position.
  2. Experience performing general building maintenance tasks, such as mechanical maintenance on infrastructure.
  3. Hold an apprenticeship or qualification in a trade or building services equivalent.
  4. Full UK Driving License and access to own vehicle is essential.
  5. Be a great communicator with a strong work ethic.
  6. Able to work as part of a team and independently to ensure tasks are completed.
