Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Gousto. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for efficiently and effectively managing your department to achieve business and departmental targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, develop, and motivate your team to achieve great culture and results, including performance management, training, recruitment, and absenteeism.
- Understand and interpret specifications to ensure forward planning of production is achieved in the most cost-effective manner possible and optimize efficiencies.
- Ensure quality and hygiene standards are properly communicated, understood, and achieved at all times, and demonstrate proper cooperation with all departments.
- Carry out routine inspections of your department and recommend improvements.
- Ensure a complete and thorough knowledge of the budget within your department and report any variance against these standards.
- Conduct a formal period review of your department's performance against standards, including personnel issues such as labor turnover, absenteeism, training, morale, and general staff welfare.
Requirements
- Existing manager of a team with excellent IT skills, including Google Workspace and Slack.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with interaction at all levels of the business.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-moving and challenging environment.
- Advantageous: experience working with food and knowledge of HACCP and GMP.
