The Opportunity
We are looking for someone with experience in working with children, young people, and families to provide support and guidance. As a Family Support Specialist, you will work collaboratively with our schools and community partners to identify young people who may require support and develop strategies to address their needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of schools and families to provide support and guidance
- Assess the needs of children, young people, and families to access and coordinate support services
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with parents, families, and partners to achieve positive outcomes
- Deliver direct work and interventions through our Whole Family Approach process
Requirements
- Experience of working with children, young people, and/or families
- Emotional resilience and a passion for supporting diverse communities
- NVQ level 3 Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
- Relevant organisational knowledge of systems, procedures, and policies associated with operating a client-focused service
