Project Director

Your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing site delivery teams, including site managers, foremen, gangers, machine operators, and operatives
* Ensuring safe and effective delivery while managing client expectations and relationships
* Collaborating with various departments and stakeholders to ensure works are delivered to the highest possible standard
* Managing the five key phases of multiple high-risk and/or complex projects, including projects delivered under framework agreements and those won competitively
* Ensuring projects are completed under price, to prescribed timescales, and required quality while effectively managing safety, environment, and heritage issues
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Proven experience of managing multiple high-complexity projects within the relevant discipline
* 10 years or more experience preferred, with experience of managing projects £2m plus
* Proven experience of managing multiple high-complexity Design & Build Projects throughout the project lifecycle
* A degree (or equivalent) in a related discipline
* Chartered membership of an appropriate professional body (not essential)
* Excellent commercial awareness and proven experience of delivering profitable works
* Experience of risk and risk management
* Proficient in the use of personal computers and business applications
* A valid driving license and willingness to travel throughout the UK
