Cost Assurance Specialist

My client, a leading Consultancy company, is seeking a highly skilled Cost Assurance Expert to join their team. As a Cost Assurance Expert, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on cost assurance, supply chain assurance, contract compliance, and continuous improvement.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost assurance, supply chain assurance, and contract compliance. You will be responsible for reviewing construction contractor systems, controls, and processes to provide a view on their ways of working. You will also analyze and understand complex construction contracts, plan financial audits, and perform testing of data and information using smart techniques and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze construction contractor systems, controls, and processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze and understand complex construction contracts to ensure compliance with business processes.
- Plan and conduct financial audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Perform testing of data and information using smart techniques and tools to identify trends and patterns.
- Foster good quality working relationships with clients and those being reviewed built around trust and professionalism.
Requirements
- Strong background in cost assurance, supply chain assurance, and contract compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex messages succinctly to maximise impact.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting.
- Contract Management - NEC3/4 (Option C, E) preferred.
