Recruit4staff is proud to represent a leading manufacturing business in their search for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Bridgnorth.


The Role:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for investigating equipment failures, recommending and implementing improvements, and participating in regular reviews with the Engineering & Manufacturing team. You will also be carrying out Plant/Equipment installation in line with Planned Preventative Maintenance, providing minimal downtime to Production, and installing & setting up new areas within Production as required. Additionally, you will be attending Maintenance meetings, focusing on Continuous Improvement, maintaining a high level of Health & Safety, and working in team situations to resolve any issues. Your skills will include Mechanical & Electrical tasks, with a focus on Multi Skilling, ideally (60/40) Mechanical/Electrical.

Requirements:
Previous experience within a similar role is essential, with knowledge of Pneumatics / Hydraulics, ability to read Mechanical & Electrical diagrams, and experience in Planned Preventative Maintenance. Fabrication / Welding skills are also required, with PLC experience being preferred.

Our client is offering a competitive salary range, with starting salary dependent on experience. The role includes a 4-shift per week schedule, with a 3-day weekend every week, and a permanent position with a company pension or auto-enrolment.
