Maintenance Technician

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing business, in their search for a Maintenance Engineer to work in their facility in Bridgnorth. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a growing manufacturing business and contribute to its success by maintaining and improving the facility's equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Investigate and resolve equipment failures, recommend and implement improvements, participate in regular reviews with the Engineering & Manufacturing team, and carry out plant/equipment installation in line with Planned Preventative Maintenance. Additionally, the successful candidate will provide minimal downtime to production, install and set up new areas within production as required, and maintain a high level of Health & Safety. The ideal candidate will be multi-skilled, with a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance and a proven track record of continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Previous experience within a similar role is essential. The successful candidate should have knowledge of Pneumatics/Hydraulics, be able to read mechanical and electrical diagrams, and have experience in Planned Preventative Maintenance. PLC experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
