We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our Bank team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. As a Bank Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our patients in an inpatient mental health setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered care and support to patients with mental health needs
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective care plans
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care and mobility
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive environment, promoting patient well-being and dignity
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 months' experience in a caring role, preferably in mental health or care homes
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of mental health issues and person-centered recovery
  • Willingness to attend and pass training in physical restraint, enhanced life support, and moving & handling
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and unsociable hours
