About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Leader to join our team at Booker Limited. As a Shift Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our branch, working closely with the Branch Leadership Team and colleagues to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Opening and closing the branch, ensuring all necessary procedures are followed.
  • Leading by example, promoting a Health, Safe and Legal culture, and ensuring all colleagues are aware of any updates.
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe environment, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Supporting colleagues during their induction and training, and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Championing Diversity and Inclusion, ensuring Everyone Is Welcome at Booker.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience of supervising or managing a team.
  • Proven track record of coaching, motivating, and guiding a team, as well as holding people accountable for delivering great service.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with great problem-solving skills and practical experience in the retail/wholesale trade.
