Steer Automotive Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Bodyshop Manager to lead our dynamic team in an exciting and growing automotive repair business.

About the Role

As the Bodyshop Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of our bodyshop operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and motivating a team of bodyshop technicians to achieve performance targets and deliver exceptional results.
  • Coordinating workflow and prioritizing tasks to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining quality standards.
  • Monitoring and managing inventory levels, ensuring adequate supplies and materials are available to support operations.
  • Developing and implementing processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity in the bodyshop.
  • Collaborating with other departments, including customer service and parts procurement, to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer satisfaction.

You will have prior experience as a Bodyshop Site Manager, with expertise in health and safety protocols, ensuring these measures are consistently adhered to. You will be able to lead and work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision, be flexible in your approach and continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind.

Requirements
  • Prior experience as a Bodyshop Site Manager.
  • Expertise in health and safety protocols.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Knowledge of automotive repair techniques, equipment, and materials.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and industry-specific software.
