Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Premier Engineering in Newcastle. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and products using CAD software
  • Produce engineering documents and specifications
  • Liaise with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure design meets project requirements
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible and efficient
Requirements:
  • Engineering qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
  • Excellent 3D CAD skills and knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
