Compensation Package

  • Salary range: £28,000 - £35,000
  • Incentives based on performance
  • 25 days of annual leave plus public holidays

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing import operations for ocean freight from diverse international locations.
  • Coordinating collection logistics with transport service providers.
  • Engaging with clients, branch offices, global agents, and transport companies.
  • Providing outstanding customer support by responding to inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Monitoring orders, managing billing processes, and handling notifications from overseas partners.
  • Facilitating Customs documentation as required.
  • Tracking shipments until they reach their final destination.
  • Managing job costing and invoicing responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience in a UK freight forwarding environment.
  • Expertise in ocean import logistics.
  • Understanding of customs clearance procedures.
  • Proficient in freight management software such as Cargowise or Multifreight.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
