About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our Community Specialist Rehabilitation Team. This is a temporary opportunity for 8 months, offering an excellent chance to expand your clinical expertise within a supportive interdisciplinary environment.

You will play a vital role in providing specialist and comprehensive evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to patients with complex rehabilitation needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of patient needs
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Providing a range of therapeutic interventions, including adaptive equipment training and functional mobility skills
  • Collaborating effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation

Essential Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
  • Registered member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT)
  • Post-graduate experience in neuro rehabilitation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
