About the Role

MCC Label is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our Finance Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the plants achievement of financial objectives and corporate financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management: Assist the Financial Controller in managing the plant's internal and external financial reporting, ensuring compliance with internal controls and policies.
  • Financial Analysis: Partner with the Plant Management Team to analyze data to deadlines and support the Financial Controller as required.
  • Cost Accounting and Inventory Management: Manage systems for current, accurate, and complete accounting and reporting of job costs, overhead, inventory, controls, and policies.
  • Forecasting: Provide input on the forecasting process.
  • Accrual and Prepayment Journals: Assist in preparing accrual and prepayment journals for month-end accounts.
  • Expense Account Analysis: Involved in the analysis and review of expense accounts during the month-end process.
  • Customer Support: Support a service-oriented and business partner approach within the accounting organization.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Safety: Assure the safety of associates within the Plant Accounting function.
  • Culture: Model the Corporate Values and Principles, including instilling a high-performance, people-powered culture, providing high expectations and high support.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Qualified Accountant or studying towards accountancy qualification.
  • Skills: Literate in Microsoft Word and Excel, articulate, clear, and persuasive in the spoken and written word, rational, logical, fact-driven decision making, perform college-level mathematical calculations.
