**Contract Analyst - Procurement Expertise**

We're Severn Trent Water, a leading water company, and we're seeking a skilled Contract Analyst to join our Procurement and Contract Management team. As a Contract Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our contracts, collaborating with suppliers, and providing valuable insights to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the early warning register and provide analysis to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Analyze data monthly against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure contract compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support the monthly valuation and reconciliation closure process, monitoring financial compliance and resolving any discrepancies with key stakeholders.
  • Provide analytical support to the contract management team, validating data and costs, spotting errors and omissions, and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools, with the ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
  • Experience in procurement or contract management, with a strong understanding of contract law and regulations.
