We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist to join our team as a Pharmacist Leader. As a key member of our outpatient pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and management for all pharmacy services, ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of services in accordance with national and local standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and management for all pharmacy services, including the supervision of support staff.
• Ensure the safe and effective delivery of all aspects of outpatient pharmacy services, including the management of medicines and the provision of clinical services.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality and timeliness of outpatient services, including the development of new clinical services and the optimization of existing services.
• Work collaboratively with prescribers, specialist clinical pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high standards of medicines management and optimization.
• Contribute to the development of a high-quality and timely outpatient service for patients, including the development of new services and the optimization of existing services.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with prescribers, specialist clinical pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective delivery of services.

Requirements

• Registration as a pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
• Experience of advanced clinical knowledge, postgraduate clinical qualification, or equivalent experience of at least 18 months.
• Experience of developing a business or organization and the team, or having been part of such a new team.
• High degree of self-motivation, with the ability to organize and prioritize own work and develop agreed ideas into practice.
• Right to work in the UK.
