Blackstone Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team as a key member of our outpatient pharmacy services.

The successful candidate will provide day-to-day leadership and management for all pharmacy services, ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of services in accordance with national and local standards. This role requires a high degree of self-motivation, with the ability to organise and prioritise work, develop agreed ideas into practice, and work collaboratively with the pharmacy manager and other pharmacists.

• Provide leadership to and act as a role model for the support staff of the outpatient pharmacy.
• Ensure the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of all aspects of the out-patient pharmacy services.
• Develop an effective working relationship with prescribers and contribute to the development of a high-quality and timely outpatient service for patients.
• Contribute to the development of appropriate additional clinical or patient-centred services.
• Work collaboratively and supportively with the Superintendent Pharmacist and Pharmacy Manager.

• Registration as a pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
• Evidence of advanced clinical knowledge, postgraduate clinical qualification, or equivalent experience of at least 18 months.
• Experience as a qualified pharmacist in a number of different settings and roles, including temporary or day-to-day management.
• Experience of developing a business or organisation and the team, or having been part of such a new team.
• High degree of self-motivation, with the ability to organise and prioritise work, develop agreed ideas into practice, and work collaboratively with the pharmacy manager and other pharmacists.
