Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Mitchell Maguire, a specialist Construction Field Sales Recruitment Consultancy. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling a manufactured range of plumbing pipes and fittings, underfloor heating, pre-insulated pipework, and district heating to M&E contractors and installers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Selling to M&E contractors and installers, with a focus on new business development and account management
- Building relationships with key decision-makers in the industry
- Developing and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed turnover targets
- Providing technical support and guidance to customers
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless sales processes
Requirements:
- Technical field sales experience with plumbing and heating contractors and merchants
- Proven track record of success in sales, with a focus on new business development and account management
- Strong understanding of commercial plumbing and heating products, including pipes and fittings, heat interface units, district heating, and underfloor heating
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
