Join Our Team as a Research Assistant/Program Coordinator

We are seeking highly motivated and organized individuals to support our research and program teams at the Center for Global Development. As a Research Assistant/Program Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our collaborative research projects and contributing to our work through a variety of activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and participate in collaborative research projects.
  • Contribute to research, data analysis, writing, and administrative activities.
  • Support program teams through grants and financial management.
  • Assist with operational activities and project management.
  • Provide occasional research support.

Qualifications:

We are looking for individuals with a strong interest in economic development research and policy, who are highly organized and motivated, and able to adapt to changing workstream priorities. Candidates with experience in one of our core areas of research are encouraged to apply:

  • Education
  • Global Health
  • Migration, Displacement and Humanitarian Policy
  • Sustainable Development Finance
  • Technology and Development
  • Governments and Development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Right to live and work in the United Kingdom
  • Strong analytical, organizational, writing, and communication skills
  • Some related work experience or experience supporting academic research
  • Intrinsically motivated to learn and grow
  • Willingness to pitch in wherever needed, including administrative tasks

Bonus Points:

  • Quantitative analysis skills and experience using data visualization tools/techniques; experience with Stata, R, Python
  • Economics or related degree with an interest in pursuing a graduate degree or PhD
  • Experience living/working/travelling in developing countries
