Are you an experienced Environmental Risk Consultant with comprehensive knowledge of industry ISO standards?
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering data to management to support the preparation of monthly reports.
- Aiding in the oversight and enhancement of the Group IRM (Insurance Risk Management) platform for the UK.
- Supporting the Environment and Industrial Risk team in various capacities (remotely).
- Assisting operational teams in identifying and managing defects, ensuring they are rectified effectively.
- Developing management plans (including Fire Prevention Plan, Odour Management Plan, Site Management Plan, and Monitoring Management Plan) that meet regulatory standards.
- Offering guidance on incident management to mitigate environmental pollution risks.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A degree or equivalent in Environmental Sciences or related environmental qualifications (such as WAMITAB).
- Membership in relevant professional organizations to stay updated with the latest standards.
- A minimum of three years' experience with Management Systems, including writing, reviewing, and maintaining documentation. Understanding of 'best available techniques' (BAT) is crucial, as is ensuring compliance with ISO 9000, 14000, and 18000 standards.
- Strong project management skills are essential to ensure timely delivery of accurate information.
- Familiarity with legal reporting obligations, including waste returns, energy efficiency, and permit requirements.
