About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Ledger Clerk to join our Credit Control team on a part-time basis. As a Sales Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, ensuring timely payments, and resolving any disputes that may arise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring all accounts are paid to their agreed terms
  • Resolve any disputes that may arise, working closely with internal and external stakeholders
  • Chase overdue debts through telephone, email, or written communication
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of larger accounts, including uploading documents into customer intranet portals
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner

Requirements

  • Experience in a credit control or sales ledger team (preferably in an office-based customer services environment)
  • Good working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Knowledge of AS400 (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure
  • Highly reliable, conscientious, and dedicated with a good work ethic
