We are excited to present a unique opportunity with Imperium Recruitment Ltd for an Automation Support Engineer. This role is integral to the operational success of our client, who specializes in innovative solutions for Automated Warehouses and Distribution Centres worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Address automation faults and breakdowns effectively to minimize operational downtime.
- Conduct fault diagnosis and implement modifications to control systems.
- Prioritize issues systematically, employing a structured problem-solving methodology.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to tackle complex technical challenges.
- Provide expert technical support for modifications, maintenance, and upgrades of existing safety and PLC Control Systems.
- Perform comprehensive system checks on PLC/HMI/SCADA systems.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- An Engineering Apprenticeship, HNC/ONC qualification.
- Experience in fault diagnosis and modifications on Siemens PLC systems.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Variable Speed Drives, Motors, and Safety Circuits.
- Proficiency in fault-finding on industrial networks, including Asi and Profibus.
This role offers a competitive salary of up to £52,000 depending on experience, along with:
