Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join our team at QED Legal LLP. As a key member of our clinical negligence department, you will play a crucial role in assisting on complex and high-value claims, while also maintaining a caseload of lower complexity and value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist on complex and high-value clinical negligence claims, working closely with a Senior Associate/Director and other team members.
  • Maintain a caseload of lower complexity and value, across all types of clinical negligence work.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify key issues and develop effective strategies for each case.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless case management.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments to provide expert advice and guidance.

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor, trainee solicitor, legal executive, or paralegal with experience of running their own files.
  • Experience of conducting clinical negligence claims or a demonstrable enthusiasm for the work.
  • Ability to understand and apply complex and novel legal concepts, and explain them in a straightforward manner.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel), case management software, and experience of time recording.
