About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Systems Development Manager to join our team at CRA GROUP LIMITED. As a key member of our Housing Management Systems team, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of our NEC Housing system.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Implementation:
    • Lead the solution design, parameter design, and configuration of the NEC Housing system to ensure it meets the specific needs of our local authority and module leads.
    • Lead the mapping of legacy data to NEC data.
    • Support the council IT team's build activity by advising on build steps and actions.
    • Conduct detailed analysis of current module-specific processes to identify requirements and areas for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders, including business users, housing management teams, IT, NEC consultants, and external vendors.
    • Facilitate workshops and meetings to ensure all parties are informed and engaged in the implementation process.
    • Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Technical Analysis:
    • Perform detailed technical analysis to understand business needs and ensure the system meets them.
    • Provide guidance and advice on solution design and module-specific good practice.
    • Develop proposals and presentations to help guide the business to sound decisions.
    • Resolve any technical and functional issues that arise during the implementation process.
    • Support system testing and quality assurance to ensure the system meets all functional and technical requirements.
  • Training and Support:
    • Develop and deliver coaching and training for end-users to ensure they are proficient in using the new system.
    • Provide support and troubleshooting during the project and post-go-live phase.
    • Create comprehensive documentation, including user manuals and technical guides.
Requirements
  • Full system lifecycle experience.
  • Large project implementations of Housing Management Systems.
  • Deep experience of the following Northgate/NEC modules: Housing Advice, Allocations, Planned Maintenance, Assets, Assets Asbestos, Risk Management, Component Accounting, CRM, Customer Services, Data Warehouse, Dashboards Allocations, Dashboards Homelessness, Dashboards Compliance, Asset Performance, Organisation Portal.
