We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Cornerstone Project Source, a leading construction company specializing in large-scale civil engineering projects. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the commercial aspects of our projects, ensuring that we deliver high-quality results while maintaining a strong financial position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Management: Manage contract commercial aspects, including contract administration, cost control, and financial reporting.
  • Cost Control: Control project costs, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit cost reports, including progress reports and final accounts.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with project teams to meet financial targets and ensure project success.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best possible prices and terms.
  • Compliance: Ensure regulatory and standard compliance, including health and safety, environmental, and quality management.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in commercial management, ideally within groundworks or civil engineering.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and negotiation skills, excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
