Role Overview

Mason Blake is seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Analyst to join our investment team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for applying data and statistical models to drive alpha idea generation and fundamental investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new bond and currency models to contribute to alpha idea generation across fixed income markets
  • Enhance existing fixed income, macro econometric, and portfolio models to improve investment outcomes
  • Create new, proprietary datasets on market flows and positioning, and visualize this data for Portfolio Managers
  • Analyze investment ideas from a quantitative perspective to inform investment decisions
Candidate Profile
  • Relevant experience as a quantitative analyst or investment analyst with a strong interest in macro economics and its impact on fixed income markets
  • Knowledge of current best practices in data science and software development
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
  • An innovative approach to problem-solving and a passion for investments and financial markets
